I used Reese’s cups instead of Oreos and I used half semi sweet chips and half Reese’s peanut butter chips for the cookie base and my god this desert was absolute heaven

But i’m confused on how to make it work. If I put eggs right after turning off heat, they will be scrambled. but if I wait for it to cool down, the sugar is hardened. I’m confused and i think i’ve ruined the recipe. what did i do wrong??

It’s delicious, I had an 8x8 pan and it worked it was just a little raw in the middle but it is still good. I put it in the refrigerator to store it and it was even better cold. I put it in for the full 40 minutes and tested it and put it back in for an extra 5 minutes and after that I let it cool for a little and it was still raw so I put it back in the oven for another 10 minutes and it was still a little raw, I don’t know what I did wrong but it still tasted good

These were really good, especially when completely cooled to room temperature after cutting. I don’t think they are “too sweet” but I might cut back on sugar next time as I think they would still be good cutting it back a little.
